From the Spraker Archives: End of the Century and KGW News Promos

One of those things I’ve been meaning to do for 9 years is get some of my work from KGW up on the web.  Now seems as go a time as any.

Click here to see the piece that attempted to sum up the 20th Century in three minutes.  It ran right before midnight on the cusp of the new millennium both on air and to the 40,000 or so in Pioneer Courthouse Square.  That night we had a little party in what is now the Studio on the Square.

I’ve also posted my favorite News Series and News Image promos.  Most of these were a collaboration with my friend Jeff Patterson, still the Art Director at the Key to the Golden West.

Later in the week I’ll be posting some weather spots (including the epic two minute Doppler 8000 launch – great Flame work by Mike Quinn) and some fun sports promos including the one and only Colin Cowherd.
