In 2002 I left KGW-TV to be “the Avid guy” for a local reseller in Portland. I still enjoy working with my editing customers & post production workflows – but I’m also involved in system integration & design.
For almost 15 years I’ve had the privilege of working on projects for companies like Nike, Intel, the Portland Trailblazers, Oregon State University, the R2C Group, Mission Control and more. Many of these customers are running shared storage from EditShare with their Avid and other popular editing systems.
Recent high profile projects include an upgrade to 250TB of shared storage for the R2C Group, HD control rooms for Portland City Hall and Portland Timbers plus EditShare storage and asset management systems for MercyCorp, the City of Vancouver and Comcast SportsNet NW.
I still make time to do some freelance audio for regional and national sports networks as well as being the game day video/audio engineer for the Portland Timbers (check out my Sports Audio page if you want some name dropping).
Before getting into sales, I was a writer/producer/editor/etc… for KGWcreative, preceded by stints at KIMA-TV in Yakima, WA and KLEW-TV in Lewiston, ID. For a taste the over-the-top promo work I did at KGW, check out the Promo Editing page here on spraker.tv.
I look forward to helping with your next project. Give me a call and let’s make it great!
